2002 Land Rover Discovery II - 115K Miles. Leather Interior. 8 Cylinder. 4WD. Power Windows. Power Seats. Dual Power Moon Roofs. CD player. Seat Heaters. There is some normal wear & tear on the vehicle. Please see pictures. I replaced the power steering pump. Also just had a brake job done. Runs great. Currently registered and passed Massachusetts vehicle inspection. The rear wiper is not working, and will need to be checked out. Defrost/heater fan makes noise on high speed, so it may need a new fan, or possibly something stuck on fan blade. Small crack on passenger side front plastic, under the bumper. $500 due with 24 hours of auction close. Balance by cash or bank check. I will help in any way with shipping arrangements you make. On Dec-30-10 at 09:38:47 PST, seller added the following information: ***UPDATE***** It has been brought to my attention by a couple potential bidders that there is a discrepancy in the reported mileage. Thank you for bringing that to my attention! Here is what I can tell you: I purchased this vehicle @ auction 10/5/09. The auction house prepared the forms (RMV1) for me to re-title the vehicle in my name. I applied for a new title from the MA RMV on 10/6/09. I never looked at the form that was filled out by the auction house, I just submitted it with the new title fee. The new title was issued by the RMV on 10/23/09. I received the new title and threw it in my files. The vehicle sat unused for over a year, and I did not register it until 12/7/10. The day I purchased the vehicle the odometer read 114,740. When I registered the vehicle and had it inspected, the odometer read 114,825. I pulled out the title and the mileage listed on the title is 187,740.00, which appears to correspond with the Vehicle History Report. As best as I can tell, either the auction house wrote the wrong mileage on the RMV1 form, or the clerk @ the RMV entered it wrong. Shame on me for not checking the RMV1, and for not checking the title when it came in. I have spoken to the RMV about the steps I would need to go through to correct this. It is possible, but it could take up to six months, assuming that they will even grant the correction after such a long time. I have even contacted the Land Rover dealer that I believe serviced the vehicle for the original owner. But, they were unwilling to confirm that they had ever serviced the vehicle. That being said, I am going to leave the title alone and try to sell the vehicle as is. If you choose to bid, and are the high bidder, I encourage you to come and check the vehicle out from top to bottom, test drive it, and review the paperwork that I have. If at any time you feel uncomfortable with completing the purchase, I will absolutely let you walk away with no questions asked with a full refund of your deposit. I will understand completely. I appreciate everyone's input, but I am not going to be applying or appealing to the RMV to have the mileage record changed. That being said, if you are interested in bidding on this Land Rover, Great! But, keep in mind that the mileage on the odometer sates 11,500 +/-. The title states that the mileage is 187740. When I sign over the title, I will be checking box # 2, which states that there is a odometer discrepancy.
