The 1.9L turbo Diesel engine starts at the touch of the key & comes to a perfect idle, with no smoke from the tail pipe or oil leaks which is a indication of a engine that was well cared for. The transmission shifts on point with no slips, or shuddering through all the gears. I was very surprised how comfortable & responsive this Jetta was to drive for a diesel. It handles nicely around turns, and it is not at all a bumpy ride. You'll enjoy the benefits of good gas mileage (45+ miles per gal.) and a smooth ride with this 1.9L Diesel engine. This Jetta is not a show car or flawless, but it is far cleaner then others of it's vintage.The paint shines nicely with only very miner imperfections such as parking lot dings & small scrathes on the bumpers . The interior is in mint condition as you can see from the pics. WoW I couldn"t believe how clean,& a non smoker which is a plus. The Auto Check is clean as a whistle; which means No worries!
