You are looking at a 1986 Trans-Am. This was a true barn find that had sat for about 13 years. The body has 72,720 miles on it. The person I bought the car from had pulled the original 305 T.P.I. motor out to use in a street rod. I have put a 350 T.P.I. motor in the car and do have the car running, however when the previous owner pulled the original motor they cut a lot of wires that I have spent many hours tracking down and fixing. For the good --For a 25 year old car the body is in very good shape there is no rust holes any where on this car, the floor pans are also rust free and very solid, the car was undercoated and all its time spent in a barn helped to preserve the body and make it a very restorable car. The motor as I said is a 350 T.A. motor from a 1988 T.A. with T.P.I. set up on it. It does start and run and sounds very good and strong. I have not finished it to the point of a test drive. Transmission is the stock 700R4 with fresh stock converter and new fluid and filter. New fuel pump just installed. Also put on new rear shocks, new spears, and bushings on the rear sway bar. This is a ws-6 suspension car. You can see by the pictures the car is very solid even under the ground effects package. I do have all the ground effects and also the new decal package. This is a t-top car. For the bad--The interior is pretty much all there, but sitting in the barn for several years took its toll on it. The seats will need to be recovered and the door panels and head liner will need to be replaced. The carpet is in fair condition. I have about $3,000 in the car as it sits. My loss is your gain.
