Vehicle Detail
I bought this truck several years ago to haul brush and just play around in. I started fixing stuff as needed but got carried away. The truck has been restored for about five years now and I have only put about 5,000 miles on it since. This is a rust free tuck. The paint looks better in the pictures than in person but I wasn't fixing a show truck, I just wanted a cool old jeep to tool around in and haul stuff when needed. It is a strong truck and pulls my boat well. The restoration included rebuilding the motor, transmission, and rear end. The motor also got a new water pump, starter, radiator, GM style HEI distributor, and Holly projection fuel injection. The truck starts easy and runs well. Many of the suspension bushings and joints have been replaced as needed. The brakes have been replaced, including master cylinder. As far as the body goes, it was a bed off restoration as you will be able to see when you get under the truck. The inside of the bed has been Rhino lined. The doors are from a grand wagoneer which gave me power windows and door locks. I am sure I am leaving stuff out but it is hard to remember everything. For the last couple of years the truck has sit in the garage for months at a time but is allways easy to start and fun to drive. My wife won't let our teenage sons drive it becouse it has alot of power early in its RPM range and mindlessly stomping the gas just spins the tires. The motor is the 360, trans turbo 400, transfer Dana 20. If you have any question feel free to ask. While I believe this to be a very good truck, it is being sold as is where is. A $400 deposit is due within 24 hours of the aution's end but if when you come to pick up the truck you believe I have misrepresented it, I will gladly return your deposit minus the cost of the auction which I think is $125. Pay Pal is OK for the deposit but the rest is cash only. If you have a bad feedback rating I will cancel your bid. The truck must be paid for and picked up within two weeks of the auctions end and please do not bid if you do not have the money in hand. I will not fill out a bunch of paperwork to help someone get a loan. I am not selling becouse I need to, I just figure someone might get more use out of it than I do.
