This auction is for a 1993 Mercury Capri Convertible with optional hardtop. One owner. It has 51,000 actual miles. Automatic. Power Windows, Locks, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, (works very well) Am-Fm Factory radio. Convertible top is like new. Has not been in the up position for a few years, but when it was up it was like new. Trunk is clean, interior is in very nice condition, has optional leather seats, front and rear. Very good condition with no rips or tears, just a little wera on bolster as you get in the car. No cracks in dash. All windows and locks work. Engine sounds good and gets great mileage. No rust on car. Tires are at 50%.I took this car in trade from a very good friend on my personal car. I have known the car all of its life. My friend bought the car as a salvage car, having had a small fire under hood from a defective gas connection. It was repaired properly under the hood in 1994 with 4890 miles on the car. The car now has an Indiana rebuilt title issued in 1995. They have owned it since 1994 using it sparingly as a summer car. One of the nicer Capri'. s I have seen. Runs great and is fun to drive. I would put the top up for pictures but the weather here in Indiana is very cold and don,t want to damage the top in any way. I noticed a couple of dings in the trunk lid, but you have to look close to see them. The rest of the car is near perfect. Paint is very very nice. The car was rust checked rust proofing two or three times in its life to insure no rust. I believe the party that buys this car will be surprised at the great condition of the car.
