This is a 1982 Collector Edition Corvette. The car was purchased new by a doctor and given to his wife. She drove the car until 1997 then parked in the garage until 2001. A friend of mine purchased it and was going to restore it for his wife. It set in his shop until I purchased it in Dec. of 2004. The car needs to be painted and needs the door panels replaced. I haved replaced everthing in the brakes and it has a new set of cooper tires. I also just installed a new fuel pump. The car runs and drives good but needs TLC. The A/C has been changed to R-134. It needs to be charged becuuse it will leak down if it sets. If you want to know about this car you can call me. 706 561-8494. There were only 6,759 of this limited edition Corvettes built. All came with the 200hp "cross fire" computer-controlled, fuel-injected powerplant and 700-R4 automatic overdrive transmission. They all had 32 fin wheels ana a hatchbacb rear window. In 1982 25,407 Corvettes were built And 6,759 Collector Edition versions were created specifically to commemorate the ending of the C-3 model run.
