1983 Mazda B2200 Turbo Diesel! Ladies and gentleman... if you have heard about the rising gas prices and you are looking for a solution then you have found the truck for you! I have a 1983 Mazda B2200 with the popular Perkins diesel! This is one awesome truck! It will run on diesel, veggie, biodiesel, transmission fluid... or really just about anything combustible in a diesel application! Here is your chance to own a great running truck that averages 40+ MPGs while actually making enough power to tow or actually do over 65mph (unlike most small diesel powered vehicles)! This truck is driven almost every day and can be trusted to drive anywhere. The basics: *1983 Mazda B2200 *Long bed *5 speed (which is hard to find in these trucks) *2wd * features a 2.2L Perkins diesel The extras: *full turbo kit *new stronger head gasket with new head bolts *dual 4" stacks *custom 50hp injectors *custom Heavy Duty clutch *custom injection pump mods for power and mileage *full Autometer boost, egt, and tach gauges *nice Sony stereo with AUX imput for iPod or MP3 player The good: *mechanically sound *new front and rear brakes (including calipers, rotors, wheel cyl, etc.) *new clutch master and slave cylinder *new synthetic fluids in transmission, brakes, and differential *new battery The bad: *the color is Matte Black (some people like it... some people don't) *needs tires *has typical cosmetic issues that would be found in a near 30 year old truck (i.e. door panel ripped, seat torn) *windshield has a crack (not unsafe but should be addressed) *the fuse panel needs attention (works fine but doesn't look appealing) *needs oil pan gasket (has small leak) This truck turns heads!
