The paint scheme is original black, with a titanium racing stripe, and titanium lower ground effects. The paint work was completed at Gary’s Auto Body in Energy IL. The weather stripping has all been replaced during the restoration of this American Legend. The Power plant is the original 305 CI. (Numbers Matching) With a twist, it has been completely rebuilt and heads resealed and seated. Aluminum Edelbrock Performer intake manifold with matching cam, lifters, and carburetor. MSD ignition, and steel braided hoses. To keep it cool, it has a 4 inch aluminum racing radiator with electric fan. The fan is controlled by a temp switch and has a manual override for those times when you really got to cool it off. (This thing is fast) The air conditioner has been replaced and retrofitted to R134. The transmission is a 700R4, and to solve that pesky locking torch converter issue this street ride has been outfitted with a B&M torch converter Lock-up controller mounted in the cab for total control. This Camaro can run like a scalded dog or take a long trip in style. There are so many new parts on this machine it’s impossible to list them all. If you can think of it, it’s new or reconditioned. The windshield is new. The seats and door panels were redone by Taco Trim in Herrin IL. The seats have been over stuffed for style and comfort; they are black and slate gray with custom embroidering in the head rest and the door panels. The rest of the interior is black with black carpet, and gray sail panels. The stereo is a Sony Cd deck and is ready for satellite, HD Radio, and all sorts of other media through a 3.5mm aux. jack on the front of the deck. The speakers have great sound. The steering gear box has been replaced along with the rest of the front end. The upper strut mounts have been upgraded to a fully adjustable heavy-duty racing style, (Goodridge), and the old rubber break lines fount and rear have been replaced with steel braided performance lines (Goodridge). All the electric motors and electric lock solenoids have been replaced. It has power windows, tilt, cruise, air, power locks, keyless entry & trunk release, and alarm system. The wheels are Progressive and the tires are brand new 215/60R .15. This car has 130,000 original miles. There is however, only 50 miles on the rebuilt motor, 5 miles on the rest of the rebuild.
