1995.5 Audi S6 UrS6 Quattro Turbo This is still ideal weather for the quattro all wheel drive Audi's. The vehicle here for consideration is a 1995 Audi S6. From 1992 through 1994 Audi built a high-performance version of its popular 100 sedan and called it the S4. In 1995, the 100 became the A6 and they subsequently changed the high-performance model to the S6. In this iteration, the S6 was only built for one model year. Like the S4 before it, the vehicle boasted a 2.2 liter, 5 cylinder, 20 valve, 227 horsepower engine, five speed manual transmission, performance 16 inch wheels and tires, sport suspension, sport seats, and special white guages with black numbers in the instrument panel. Unique to the 1995 S6 were the wheels, obvious S6 badging, and the sport steering wheel available in later A4 sport models. As previously mentioned, 1995 was the only year for the five cylinder S6 as the engine could not meet 1996 model emission standards. As a result, these vehicle were built very late into calendar year 1995 well after 1996 Audi models were being sold. The 1995 S6 models are very rare. A rare opportunity to buy a great condition (ebay incorrectly defaults to turbo diesel config), the S6 model has all the options and is rarer than the earlier UrS4 model. Very sporty performance, and this one has been very well looked after. Don't let the mileage scare you, this car has been maintained regardless of cost, and has had the timing belt/waterpump replaced in the last 10k miles, has had a new clutch in the last 5k miles, and has had new front suspension installed last fall about 2k miles ago. New rotors and pads all around less than 5k miles ago, this car is ready to drive across the USA if necessary on very good condition Kumho Exctas on the original alloy wheels, see pictures for actual condition of car. This car has heated seats, power door locks, power roof, power steering, nicely working air conditioning and power brakes, power windows and an upgraded stereo system. The engine runs very strong, no smoke or strange noises, and the transmission is smooth as silk. A lot of room in this car, and great performance.
