This car is a great daily driver or very restorable classic. It runs and shifts smoothly. Holds 65 mph with no problems. Has fresh oil and filter changes, and the starter, both batteries, and the glow plugs are all less than a year old. Does not smoke. There are a few oil leaks that I haven't investigated, needs a muffler and both rear window regulator tapes (I will include the tapes). Rare telescopic tilt wheel. Carpet needs cleaning, and the leather seats which have no rips,or holes need redyeing. Needs a new headliner and plastic bumper fillers. The car makes a great 20-foot appearance, with no visible rust holes on the exterior. The door seams are starting to rust, but you can only see them when the doors are open. There are 2 small dents, one on the left front fender dogleg (see photo) and one on the right corner of the hood at the hinge.The wide whitewalls and rare matching factory mag wheels really set the car off. Although the car has air, and everything is intact, the belt is off and I assume it needs at least a charge to function. I bought this car with the thought of driving to cruises as well as a daily driver, since it averages 25 mpg. It could also be converted to WVO and driven for almost nothing! The previous owner, who bought the car from his uncle, thought the mileage was accurate at 153,000, but since the odometer had been changed, the title reads "Odometer Discrepancy." The car runs and feels like it has much lower mileage. I have not driven the car this winter, so it is very clean. It is licensed and insured, and you are welcome to test drive the car before bidding. The car is subject to previous sales offers that are above the reserve price, and I reserve the right to cancel the auction.
