This monstrosity is a 1979 Chevy El Camino on a full size Blazer frame. The mileage lists 000000 because of unknown use. It has a 350 v8 with an automatic th-350 transmission and equipped with 4-wheel drive. The truck runs, but the carb is a little gummed up, and has'nt been started since before winter. The trans shifts smoothly as I have driven it before winter, and the enginejust gives a little smoke at startup. I would imagine it just needs to run and blow some gunk out. The tires were able to hold air for a time, but they are dryrotted and would need to be replaced. I found out after I bought it that the gas tank has a hole in it at about 1/2 tank so it too will have to be replaced. The transmission also needs to be bolted to it's crossmember. All in all this is purely a project vehicle. The buyer would be required to go through the mechanicals to check everything out. I did not put the body on the frame so I do not know everything, but it looks like it needs more fabrication to beef up the mounts to the body. The steering shaft needs attention and the steering box leaks. Like I said, I don't know everything, but if there are any questions, I'll try and find the answers for you. If it does not sell, I am taking it to the scrap yard as I am in college, and don't have the time to give it. ( HOPEFULLY SOMEONE DOES ) This vehicle needs to be trailered but should get on with it's own power.
