Vehicle Detail

This is a rare manual 3 speed saginaw 1972 Firebird Esprit that was produced during the infamous low production year due to a union strike that took place for over half the year. See details below. I beleive out of the 10,911 made, only 504 had synchromesh (stick shift ). The car is completely original with m code engine ( 350cid 2 barrel carberateur) minus the dual exhaust that was replaced a couple of years ago and it has a new 650cfm edelbrock carberateur and a pontiac performer aluminium intake. But i have the original intake and carberateur. Both are in working condition. I just bought a pair of edelbrock performace seies valve covers that either come with it or will be put on this weekend. Also has a new rebuilt original delco remy alternator and new radiator that have been installed. I also have the origanal radiator. Air compressor is a frigidaire (original) but has been taken out. I beleive it still works but was taken out to increase the horse power. All the seats and seat belts are original and all are in perfect condition except the driver side. The base of the drivers seat and the side of the back rest has a couple of places that have come unseemed. One visor needs restiched in a certain spot. Has the original 8 track player and is in good apperance and working order but i have added a cd player down below and bypassed the original radio. All lights work perfect but needs a new dash light bulb. The dash has a small crack in it on top. 1/16 by 2 inches long. The arm rest cover needs replaced. Its funtional but the top has been repaired. Still opens and closes. Original windshield with the antenna imbedded in the glass. Drivers side window has a couple of scratches, but nothing not normal. The car was repainted the original paint code. Two air vents on the dash need to be placed back in them. Still have them. Desent paint job but not the best. The car was rhino lined original from the factory (under body and trunk pan in and out ). Floor pans, rocker panels and trunk pan are solid and have no rust. Could use new carpet to be show quality. Frame rails are solid and have light surface rust. Engine compartment is a little dirty but cleans up nice. Mileage is documented on the clear title i have. I beleive i have covered this vehicle entirely. Please feel free to ask any questions and i will do the best to answer them as soon as possible. Thanks for your interest and good luck. It was incredibly hard to find this vehicle of such low production and will continue to be. Long live the bravest bird. HISTORICAL NOTES Introduced Sept. 23, 1971.
