I am listing this for a friend. Send all questions to: yonkie95@aol.com This is a rare independently appraised and certified 1952 Willys Pickup. Transmission is a warner T-90 Sychronous Mesh with 5:38 gears. Engine is a flat 4, C.L. L4-134. The truck has been frame off restored with new or used parts. The body was completely removed from the frame. The frame, engine, transmission, drive trans (axle springs, wheels etc. were sandblasted and primed). The truck has been undercoated and painted. It has had new shocks, brakes, brake lines, radiator, distributor, plugs, wiring, oil filter, horn, and exhaust system. The wheels are original and it has a new spare tire. The body was totally restored to original. All new glass. The bed is restored with new oak. Wiring is new. The lights, front grill, exterior cluster, and rear view mirror were all re-chromed to include frame bushings. The bench seat folds up for access to the storage bins inside the cab which were also restored. The tailgate was restored to original. There is a new spare tire mount on it. The door straps are new. It has a new battery and new hood ornament. Glove box, rubber, seals, turn signal, wiper blades and arms, floor mats, door panels and kick panels, hood latches and antenna are new. It has an AM/FM cassette player in the drivers glove box. Some of the extras on the truck include: dual horns, 6 piece bumper, side mirrors, chrome dash cluster, rear view mirror, front cross bars and hood latches. The truck from the factory was a 6 volt system. This was modified to a 12 volt system for starting purposes. There is a voltage regulator mounted under the dash to accommodate the cluster gages. This vehicle was appraised on August 21, 2003 by Gerry Martel, a third party certified appraiser located in Fitchburg, MA. The appraisal is based on a 1 to 5 scale with 1 being the best. The truck appraisal came in at an overall 1.5 to a strong 2 in all respects. This is an as is purchase. Vehicle is currently located in Indiana.
