Vehicle Detail
This is a rare one! A 1969 Subaru 360 pick up truck that served its life INSIDE Mile High Stadium in Denver, Co until it was torn down and replaced by the new stadium. I found this up above an office in a warehouse in pieces and had to bring it home. After getting it home I found it was mostly complete but disassembled. I attempted to put it back together and probably with a little more time it would be running down the road. As far as the drivetrain goes, it is complete. Subaru 360 was Subarus first attempt at making cars. They came out with the sedan, van and the rarest of them all, the pickup. It is equipped with a 2 cylinder, 2 stroke engine with 25 hp and boasts a 0-50mph time of 38.5 seconds! The lenses all the way around need replacement. Since I have owned it I have purchased sideview mirrors, a new windshield, wipers, wiper arms, ignition with keys, gas cap, mudflaps and NOS exterior door handles with keys all with the intention of restoring this but time and a new project are factors so all of this goes with the sale of this vehicle. The body is rough but try to take into consideration this thing lived and drove within concrete walls by kids making minimum wage and really didn't care. So yes it really does only have 3271 miles but it was a hard 3271 miles. I was actually thinking of leaving the marks and dents down the sides as a piece of its history. The only rust I can find is on the driver floor and it is rust through. The rest is VERY minor surface rust where the paint was scuffed off by rubbing against the walls at Mile High. The guys at the subaru 360 forum(nice guys by the way, very helpful and a great source of info and parts) will tell you that surface rust is rust through on these things but i assure you its SURFACE rust in the scuffs. Also at one time or another, maybe more than once, the employees that drove this thing left the sidegate down and rubbed through the top of it. So all in all this is a rough but solid little rare car with cool Denver Broncos history. Please email me with any questions and I will answer the best I can.
