Ford 1979 Pinto hatchback. 2.3L 4-cylinder engine, automatic transmission in need of a total restoration. The vehicle is intact with a clear title, body is sound overall with some bubbling rust on edge of hatchback, hood and body. Floor pans are solid, this was a florida vehicle all its drivable live, as far as I know it's never been out of Florida. The fenders are in repairable condition, with some rust, however not the rotted out variety you see up north. The interior is all there, however also in need of total restoration. The engine is still in the car, however it is in the starting stage of removal for rebuilding with radiator and various items pulled out and placed inside the car. I bought this to restore however, health and finances have halted all my efforts and I must let it go. This would make a good parts car, or a good chassis to transfer parts to if you have another. As I expect the winning bid to be fairly low, I expect payment via paypal within 3 business days after close of auction, winner will have 14 days to arrange transportation and have vehicle moved or payment will be considered forfeit.
