This paint job is bright enough to blind low-flying aircraft so no worries about not being seen in traffic. Not overly optioned (less for dad to fix) the car does have the college-girl essentials (mp3 jack on 180w 6-speaker stereo, automatic transmission, side air bags ("just in case, honey, I know you won't need them..."), On-Star set up (" just-in-case (2)...), tire pressure monitoring system, halogen headlights, daytime running lights (just in case that paint job doesn't do it!) and the handling and light-assist power steering are the car's best features. The brakes are also decent, so should Tiffany need to send an emergency text message she'll be able come to a safe stop at the side of the road. (right Tiff)? And while safely parked she can use the vanity mirror in the sun visor to adjust make up. O, yeah and for a car that lists for about 16 grand, you are getting an example that you can't tell from new at a 50% discount! This spotless Aveo has only 10 thousand miles on the clock, still has 2 1/2 years or 90k mi on the GM factory powertrain warranty. You'll be hard pressed to tell it isn't a 2011. The paint, trim, interior and all other details look like the car just rolled out from dealer delivery. Driving Impressions I've raced and tuned cars and motorcycles over the years and the stock handling on this car isn't bad thanks to the low weight of the 1.6 four motor, decent suspension and good steering feedback. I'm a fan of standard transmissions but this automatic is a better choice. I had a look at the gear ratios used with the 5 speed and with this little motor you'd be shifting all the time. With the automatic, the car finds it's own groove even on the highway. Henry Ford Sr. who kept his cars very simple would have loved this car--except I don't know what he would have said about the "Tahiti Green" exterior. O well, the interior at least is charcoal grey.
