1998 7 Series in fair condition. This was my wife's daily driver until a month ago when we bought a 4 cylinder MB to save on gas........... THE GOOD:............... Tires replaced fairly recently and still lots of tread with no alignment problems. Brakes were done 10K miles ago, all new pads and new front rotors Both catalytic converters replaced year and a half ago Left bank spark plugs and seals replaced recently Air conditioner works fine Car runs well, transmission shifts fine, no slipping Regular oil changes with Mobil One synthetic Tags renewed December 2010, good till December 2011, passed smog, doesn't need retesting now. Still has that BMW panache........... THE NOT SO GOOD:............. Paint on hood is poor, needs to be buffed out all the time and still has stains showing. Paint on roof was peeling, has been sanded out and painted with Dupli Color and clear coated but both hood and roof need new paint. (Rest of the car is still pretty good and shiny) Needs spark plugs and seals on right bank replaced Passenger mirror has lost connection with motor to adjust it (you can hear the motor but mirror doesn't turn) Glove box door is temperamental in latching. Passenger rear window needs work, doesn't go down Passenger air bag light on all the time 177K miles This car is definitely not a cream puff, it's a decent car with high mileage which is running well now and needs some work. I've done my best to accurately describe the car.
