Vehicle Detail
Hello, Thank you for looking at my latest project my 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser. It is a rare bird, all options except leather and only 73k miles. It is a rust free southern example. Many of you might have seen the 1997 40th Anniversary Land Cruiser I sold late last year. I have a hobby of finding late model vehicles restoring them and the next owner gets a tremendous vehicle. I have sold many vehicles on eBay and no I am not a dealer but just a car enthusiast. Some recent ones include: 97 Land Cruiser, 1988 Toyota 4Runner, 2003 Toyota 4Runner, 2005 BMW 645ci, 2005 Honda S2000, 2007 Lexus GS350, 2004 Lexus GS300, 1999 BMW M3, and a few others. Some of these vehicles have been daily use while others collectible but now I am really starting to focus on Land Cruiser only. I love them, they are just modern day classics. I purchased this Land Cruiser from its second owner in Dallas, Texas. Before that it spent time in California. It has seen no winters except for the couple trips in the last month I have had it in Michigan. I just couldn’t resist driving it, its just a great vehicle. Although when I bought this vehicle it was in excellent shape and the owner had recently put over $3k into for: Repacked front bearings and regasketed New brakes all around New shocks New oil pan seal Radiator & Brake Fluid Flush It still needed a lot of love to get to my anal standards. So here it goes I am sure I will miss a few things I have done but these are the major ones: Replaced front axle seals, regreased, and repacked bearings again (expensive done by Toyota dealer) Complete synthetic oil change including all differentials New front bumper and end caps (previous owner had caught bottom of it) Complete paint restoration of roof and luggage rack (had sun fade) Remote Start by Clifford Replaced 5 of the 9 speakers Completed regasketed and replaced track in driver’s rear quarter window Replaced window regulator in driver’s door Replaced radio head unit with factory replacements Ziebarted entire vehicle inside panels and underneath (completely preventative, not hiding anything) Complete transmission and power steering flush New Die Hard Gold Battery New Steering Column Cover New Driver’s Side Head Light (hairline crack) New Driver’s Side Taillight (hairline crack) New Driver’s side marker light (hairline crack) Two new sets of factory OEM floormats New WeatherTec Rubber Mats New Husky Liner Rear Cargo Liner New genuine Toyota wheel center caps Replaced door sensors in rear doors that turn on interior lights Replaced rear seat belts with Genuine Toyota ones Extra drivers side mirror housing body colored (found it on close out and it match the color of my truck). All in all I have spent over $7k in restoration of this vehicle. It is in perfect mechanical shape. As for cosmetically it has a few very minor things here and therebut for a 18 year old vehicle I would give it a 95 out of 100. I went over board on this one restoring it. It is in excellent shape. You will never find another 1993 Land Cruiser like this. I am confident of this. I thought I would keep this one hence the excess in restoration. Why am I getting rid of it? Well its winter here in Michigan and my daily use vehicle needs cleaned off every morning while the Land Cruiser sits in the warm garage. I only have one garage and its time to make room for my own car and another potential project next spring. Everything was restored wit Genuine Toyota parts, no knock offs or anything else. The parts manager at the Toyota dealership love me, plus he thinks I am a little nuts. This $7k does not include the 150 hours I have put into the truck myself restoring it. I am also including the factory repair manuals for the vehicle. Also (not pictured) I have all original owners manuals and complete recent inspection from Toyota dealer. This vehicle drives amazing and is one of a kind. It has all the options with the exception of leather, which is great because the seats show no wear. I have plenty of references and if you are really interested I can get you the records of all the work I have put in. Even if you could find a Land Cruiser under 75k miles with differential locks it would eventually need a lot of the above mentioned items that just go with age. If you are looking at this vehicle you are probably a die hard Land Cruiser fan like myself. Know in advance hat you are buying with this truck. The vehicle may have a few water and soap marks in the pictures. It is cold here and the vehicle is not as spotless as it could be if it wasn't so cold out washing it. Thank you for looking, 54 pictures of the vehicle are available at the following link: http://gallery.me.com/pamy104#100021On Feb-09-11 at 18:23:09 PST, seller added the following information: Taking off reserve and going to let eBay determine market pricing. I cannot take off reserve after there are bids so they next bid over $7,734 will remove the reserve. Please keep in mind I am also advertising vehicle locally and reserve right to end auction at any time.
