Up for auction is 1949 Chevrolet 4-door hardtop .this car is solid, straight and complete. The sheet metal is very straight and solid including the floor pans, there is not much rust in this car. The rest of the car has some minor surface rust and flaking paint but is very solid and straight with no signs of other body work. The glass is in tack drivers door glass has some cracks as well as passenger vent glass there is 2 chip on the left windshield the rest of the glass are in good condition there are lots of spare parts included in this auction. front visor, rear tire covers, horns,sun visors and carburetor and lots of chrome parts.i purchased this car to restore, but don't have any time to finish it.it has new black carpet.just replaced. the car runs and drives goes to all gears but reverse, the reverse works the linkage needs to be adjusted. manual transmission. brakes working,not so good due to rear right wheel cylinder. needs to be replaced. the donuts on the manifold needs to be replaced. the carburetor needs to be rebuilt.. this car starts but runs rough due to the bad carburetor. all gears works fine the linkage for the reverse needs to be adjusted. The interior seats looking good ,door panels, you may replace it. Registration expired on OKT. of 2010 you don't need smog to register the car. The car has California clear title, registration has bee expired on October of 2010.
