pinkynthebrane Store 1988 BMW 750 iL Sedan Black w/ Grey Interior V12 Up for sale is a beautiful 1988 BMW 750iL. 5.0L V12 automatic. The mileage is between 132-133K. Black with grey interior. Power seats in front and back, sunroof, CD player, A/C, heated front seats, individual climate control for driver and passenger, wood panel trim, allow wheels. The leather is still in excellent condition. The car is overall in great condition, drives very smoothly, but it does need a few repairs which is why I am selling it...I just don't have the time or money to put into it right now, and I'd rather it be with someone who is going to take great care of it. To start, I haven't driven it in about 3 months due to a hydraulic power steering fluid leak...the garage said it is leaking from the P/S box and pump. Also needs new valve cover gaskets. Eventually the accumulator needs replacing, but it isn't too urgent. The driver's side window regulator is slightly bent...I have a brand new regulator that will come with the car, just never got around to installing it. I have the wood trim and switch for the driver's door, I took them off when I took the door panel off to see the regulator. On the front passenger's side, the window will not go down...I belive it is just jammed and the position of the regulator needs to be adjusted...when the switch is pressed I can feel the motor drawing power, so nothing is broken there. The sunroof switch suddenly stopped working in the closing position only, it still opens with the power so the motor works, and it can be closed manually with the allen key. And finally, one of the tail lights occasionally doesn't turn on, it's an electrical problem. When I bought the car about a year ago, the previous owner said the radiator had been replaced about 1,000 miles ago, and shortly before that the engine was replaced with a 1989 engine in pristine condition. Since I've owned it I've had a few minor repairs done and some engine hoses replaced. So the car does need a little bit of work, but it's a sturdy well-built and well-maintained car that rides so smoothly you'd never know it was 12 cylinders. It accelerates fast, shifts smoothly, you literally feel like you're gliding in it. And it's got great stereo sound. I will definitely miss it! Asking $2,500 or best offer. Serious inquiries only.
