I bought the 1948 Jeepster in 2001, I put the work into it myself (partial restoration.) I've owned a mechanic shop and been in business for myself locally for 28 years. I got it on the road in December of 2002. Exempt on mileage, it rolled over before I bought it and I put roughly 1000 miles on it. All services and parts manuals go with it. I have a speedometer gear that's in the car that'll come included. Cosmetically it has rust on passenger gravel panel (this is the only rust on the car that I can see). The floor pans were replaced. The engine is a 4 cylinder F-head. It was repainted in 2001. The convertible top and side windows were also changed in 2001. Vehicle runs and drives well. Also, the vehicle was converted to a 12 volt system. *This is a really good deal for someone who restores cars. My dad has asked me to put this car up for him, he has put $7,000 into the car over the years. He's getting up in age and simply can't put the time and effort into this vehicle like he used to and wants to see it go to someone who loves these cars as much as he does.
