Up for sale I have a hard to find and pretty RARE 1983 Mercedes Benz 300TD (Turbo Diesel). I just got this car as a trade-in from the owner who owned this beauty for at 10 years. The car runs and drives excellent. The turbo diesel motors sounds good and has lots of power. There are lots of receipts and maintenance done to the car, I have all the receipts from the previous owner. The tires are excellent with lots of treads left on them. The body does have rust here and there, however; the undercarriage is clean. The belt for the A/C is missing so I do not know if the a/c works. The heat blows nice and warm. It has a sun-roof which opens up manually. The only really issue I found with the car is that when the car is cold the transmission tends to slip between 2nd-3rd gear. However; 5 minutes after the car gets warmed up the transmission shifts nice and smooth. So in other words once the car warms up the transmission shifts good. The interior is extremely clean. Nice clean floor mats as well. The dash board if you can notice has no cracks on it. The original radio still works. Windows go up and down no problem. I replaced the rear shocks on the car but you will need to replace the springs because their weak, they go on eBay for about $250. I realized on the pictures that the rear trunk door wasn't closed fully. So just wanted to let you know that the trunk closes perfect- I just happened to have it open while taking pictures. With that said, let your internet browser load all the pictures as I have taken lots of them. This is an old car and I've done the best I can to describe it so please do not assume it just came out of the factory, but it is a joy driving it.
