Selling my stunning 1962 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible for NO RESERVE... Final bid gets this car! Excellent opportunity for a collector or enthusiast to own my beautiful Cadillac convertible. It is one of the my favorite cars in the collection but family obligations and loss of storage space. Owned in sunny california by 2 previous owners in San Jose and San Francisco. It is not rusty and has been garaged. Still has its Black License plates. If you have been looking for a classic convertible then this is it. Forget the lincoln convertible. This is it! People love this car and take pics and wave to you all the time. It is the perfect color combination for a classic convertible. The Black paint is so attractive and the new white top and amazing amount of chrome make this car pop. You wont be disappointed with all of the star attraction you will receive. It is an original Ebony Black color car paint code 10 and matches the trim tag. It was resprayed black June of 2009. It has a V8 motor 390ci with 325HP and Rochester 4BBL carb. It has a Hydra-Matic transmission and live rear axle suspension. Also has optional AC and power top. Car length is 223 inches and weight about 4630 lbs. Factory price new was $5588 and production total 16800 units. I have a thick folder of receipts of work done and will give to new owner. Here is a run down of the car: Recent work performed:Repainted 6/2009New top (top, plastic window, well liner, padding) 1/2011New seats front and rear reupholstered 1/2011New carpet 1/2011New rear brake lines 1/2011Oil changed 1/2011 Mechanical overview:Car starts right up all the time. One click. All electrical working lights, signals, horn, ac blows, heater blows hot, speedo and odometer and gauges work. Brakes stop well and acceleration is excellent. Top works great up and down. Power windows all work up and down. Dash has few small cracks but not major. Current issues:Radio turns on but not working, power seat motor makes noise but wont move forward and back, coolant leak from water pump. Paint job is very nice but shows some dings and dents around body. It can be enjoyed as is and left alone. Many people have complimented how nice the car looks all the time! Im just very picky. Summary:Car has clean title in hand. Car is registered in CA and does not require a smog due to year. This car can drive be driven anywhere.
