The Royce Bellini Collection of Fort Lauderdale, Florida is pleased to offer for sale this very special 1961 Rambler American 400 Convertible. This is a great example of a low mileage, well cared for, original car. We purchased this car from a older gentleman in Melbourne Beach, Florida who had owned the car since 2004 and who told us that he purchased the car from the original owner in Huntington Beach, California. Needless to say, spending its entire life in Southern California and Florida, this car is extremely solid. This car has only 59,994 original miles and is in original condition with the exception of a possible repaint in the original color. It has original chrome. Nicely appointed with what appears to be the original red interior, the seats and door panels are in excellent condition with some wear on the carpet. All of the gages work perfect. It has a newer convertible top with factory power top motor that works well. It also has the original vinyl top boot and toneau cover that covers the entire interior when the top is down. This car is powered by the famous Rambler inline overhead 6 cylinder engine. It has a factory automatic transmission, factory power steering, and factory power brakes. The original, untouched engine bay is in nice condition. The car runs and drives flawlessly. The car has recently been serviced and had new radial tires. This car has a vintage AAA sticker on the windshield and some parking stickers dating back to 1974 from Huntington Beach, California. It also has the original owner's manual.
