Vehicle Detail

O.K., not sure where to start......... before you email me and inform me that Jeep technically didn't produce a YJ in 1995, I know this. But the state of Illinois titled this project as a 1995 YJ and a 1979 CJ Special-Constructed Jeep. So, with that out of the way I will try to give you all the info I know about this ride as well as a list of all the great parts I have collected to finish it. I recently just had back surgery, so I can't finish this great project. Of course my loss is your gain. The only major parts that I don't have to finish this Jeep are wheels and tires, motor and trans. The custom frame is already set up for a Chevy small block and TH350 trans. I do have a 205 transfer case that was originally mated to a TH350 Chevy transmission. The custom frame is a work of art! You really need to see it in person to see all the cool features that it has. Like I said, it's set up for a SBC motor and trans, it has the stinger roll-over protection bar and winch mount plate with light brackets already welded in place. Both the front and rear have 2" receiver mounts welded in to help sturdy the frame. There are also two specially built cross members to make the frame more ridged. It has also been modified to fit any full width axle and has the capability of moving the front axle forward or rearward. Special shock mounts, drag link brackets, and so many more options have been added to this extremely clean, stock CJ chassis. I have a Chevy Dana 44 axle for the front with 4.56 gears. For the rear, I have a 10.5" ring gear Corporate 14 bolt that has been slightly modified to gain about an extra inch of clearance while mudding or rock crawling. It is currently disassembled and ready to be blasted and powder coated. It will need a new ring and pinion because it came with 4.10's. I guess depending on the tire size, and the engine that will be installed, someone might want to keep the 4.10's instead of the 4.56's. The transfer case is a gear driven 205 Chevy case that is completely stock. Now for a list of body parts. The tub is fiberglass with working fiberglass tailgate, metal windshield frame, good glass, stock CJ roll bar, and like new plush roll bar padding. The front consists of a one-piece fiberglass full-tilt front clip with intact wiring pigtails, all lights, and chrome bezels. I also have stock metal YJ Hood and complete grille / radiator support with all lights and bezels in case the buyer likes the look of the YJ front end instead. I do not have the fenders though. There is an extra metal CJ hood that is in O.K. shape. The hard top is from a YJ and is in excellent shape. It has factory tinted windows and defrost. It will need a new t-handle, lock, and tumbler. As for the interior, I have a brand new gray full carpet kit with insulation. The stock metal CJ dash has been completely rebuilt. There is also a stock YJ dash that is almost complete. Either will fit. Again, it just depends on the tastes of the person who finishes it. When I purchased the project, it came with a very large container of misc. parts ranging from seat belts, nuts and bolts, and so much more! Forgot to mention that I have some brand new brake lines and some used brake lines. I think between the new and used, you shouldn't need any more brake line except for maybe some fittings. The seats are from an older YJ. They are grey in color and in decent shape. The rear seat has a very small puncture/rip about the size of a dime or nickel. There is a like-new plastic YJ gas tank with newer external fuel pump in great shape. Well, for the moment, I can't remember anymore of the parts included. I'm sure there is a lot more that I haven't mentioned. I will update this list as I remember them. If you have any questions regarding this Jeep, please call or text me at 630 -281-0713. I would also consider trading this project for ?????? Just hit me up with what you have and some pictures would be nice. The worst I can do is say no, LOL. Thanks again for looking! P.S. I have the right to end this auction early due to the fact that I have also listed this item for sale locally.
