This example showcases quality brightwork and trim. It is finished in its correct colors of Colonial White over Dresden Blue. FEATURES INCLUDE : 292 Y-Block V8 Automatic Transmission Power Steering Power Black Convertible Top Convertible Top Boot Dresden Blue / Colonial White Blue & White Vinyl Interior 14-Inch Factory Wheels / 205/75R14 radials This stance is thanks to the factory 14-inch wheels & wheelcovers wrapped in whitewall radial tires. The Black Power Convertible Top works excellent. Power comes courtesy of the classic Y-Block V8. This engine, displaced at 292 cubic inches, features 2bbl. induction and factory power steering. The engine features Thunderbird Special Chrome dress and runs out strong. Closer inspection of the engine compartment will confirm a detailed firewall, inner fenders, and core support. Lifeguard Design referred to a number of Ford's industry required safety innovations at the time. Open the door to yesterday. This '57 Fords interior features 2-tone blue and white vinyl seating along with vintage Ford instrumentation. The dash displays the original brightwork throughout patina. The knobs and controls are intact as is the original speedometer, ventilation controls, and AM radio. The back seat leaves plenty of room for your friends and family. The trunk is also clean and detailed, complete with the correct mat and spare tire/wheel. The door panels are in good condition. The original door tag is in place, confirming this to have always been a Dresden Blue & Colonial White car with White and Blue Vinyl interior, WOW! Closer inspection of the paint will reveal quality work throughout. Judging by the condition of the paint, sheetmetal, and undercarriage, this looks to have always been a dry climate example. Not a perfect car by any definition, this is a quality driver. Close inspection will also reveal a number of minor flaws. There is a crack at the top corner of the passenger side window glass.
