Vehicle Detail
I Have a 1976 Dodge Powerwagon Crew Cab 4x4 3/4 with the Dana 60 front axle. It has a 318 v8 2barrel with a 727 automatic transmission. NP203 transfer case and it is full time 4 wheel drive. It was originally a United States Air Force truck and later on in life it was used as a fire truck, It has manual: Window, door locks, and steering, There is no A/C it has two heaters one in the dash and an auxilary one added by the air force under the seat. The truck runs very well, It always starts no matter what the tempeture is. It has the factory oil bath air cleaner. The odometer say 39,000 miles and i believe it to be original as i just installed new rear brakes and the axle seals i replaced had the original chrysler emblems on them. The body is in pretty good shape for a 35yr old truck it has two rust spots both a little bigger than a nickel on the right side rear rocker, it has some minor surface rust just starting around the wheel wells where rocks have chipped the paint over the years. It is a factory short box that they had a large water pump mounted in so there is a couple holes cut out of the floor of the box. There are misc. little door dings around the truck but the front left fender has a very slight dent which i have included picture of. It had four spots in the floor that i cut out and replaced with new metal, i then put on a thin coat of poly resin as i was going to rhino line the floor as there is no carpet in the interior. The seats are in almost perfect condition with no tears or cracks the front seat needs a cover put on the back of the front seat. The glove box cover is cracked and the dash is also cracked by the glove box. The Tires are in okay shape but the back two are a different tread than the front and are starting to weather crack, It has the factory 16.5 rims and original hub caps. It is a RARE and very tough old truck, I was going to repain it and install a cummins drive train but i just don't seem to have anytime anymore. I will help the winning bidding with shipping if they need it, And i can store the truck outside for a couple weeks if need be. Who ever buys the car has 2 days to contact me and must provide a 500.00 deposit. i can be reached by e-mail or you can call me at (605) 254 7254. Just leave me a message and i will get back to you.
