I have for auction my red 1989 Dodge Dakota Sport.Considering she is 22 years old, she is in great shape!there is hardly any rust on her.There was a roof visor when i bought it but i removed it because it bugged me,i still have it and it will go with the truck.Title is free and clear and in hand.This truck hasnt been modified in any way, still has factory floor mats.The seats are in amazing condition and the carpet is in good shape,will probably need shampood.Shocks and spring ride great. The bads of this truck are as follows:.first she does have a small valve cover gasket leak on her passenger side.leaks very little though.The tachometer doesn't work, not sure why.there is a small pressure dent behind the drivers side rear wheel(pictured)there is a tube coming off the catalytic converter(presumably the egr tube) but can be welded back on,it kinda allows more exhaust noise but is still pretty quiet.The dash has a crack in it and the headliner is coming down but can easily be spray adhesived on.The clear coat is kinda scratchy and is coming off in a couple of small spots.There is no bed cover but snaps do remain if decide to get another.Rust is present but sealed where the visor used to be bolted to the cab.It might need the muffler replaced soon but still works fine.Radio sometimes turns on when i start the truck, not sure why. Now what sold me on her was her lack of any rust on her undercarriage, ive seen 2000's and up with more rust than this truck has.This truck does have a bed liner which is in great shape and i will throw in a matching locking toolbox for the bed.I drive her everyday and would not hesitate to get in and drive anywhere.Drives straight and true.The heater blows hot and all the accessories and interior mechanisms operate as they should. I have no reserve set and the buy it now price is way below what she books for!!. now for the legal mumbo jumbo, it is 22 years old so dont expect a brand new truck, having said that this is being sold AS-IS / WHERE IS. so please ask any questions about any concerns prior to bidding.buyer is responsible for picking up or making delivery arrangements. i check my email on a regular basis so feel free to ask any questions you may have.
