car was purchased by me in 1995, but i've known every owner back to 1987. i also have service records back to 1987 when the car had 8910 miles. i also have the original odo statement at 30 miles, when car was sold new in july of 1979 at dent vw. in idaho falls idaho. the car had 11 miles stamped in the maint book. when first serviced at dent vw. everything is in miles, so it was believed the odo was replaced when car was new. the color is 464 tobacco metallic, only offered in 1979-1980. this is an anniversary edition, with leather interior and dash. also equiped with sunroof, and upgraded stereo. i have the original stereo also. i did a tune up 2 years ago and the car runs great, the transmission is also in great shape. i asked my mechanic if there is anything i should do the it, and he said it is mechanically great shape. the dash and headliner has no cracks, but there is a little wear on the drivers seat on the bolster.this car has been well taken care of. i personally wouldn't do a thing to it. any questions please call 208-755-7920. mike! average nada book is over 17200 and high retail is over 21000.
