1972 VW Super Beetle (Runs Great!) Description This is a Silver 1972 VW Super Beetle. It runs great. My father and I have been driving this car since 1999. I am the owner of the vehicle. In early 2000 I replaced the engine with a rebuilt 1600cc engine. In the past three years I have only used it a handful of times. I've started driving it more this year and it works fine. The seats were replaced three years ago and they are in excellent condition. The floor carpeting has not been replaced. The door panels are in acceptable condition. The interior ceiling was sliced by a would-be car stereo thief who was unsuccessful. This was also the reason the seats had to be replaced. It has a brand new Sony CDX-GT120 CD-player with front auxiliary input. The system comes with two pioneer speakers, one on each door panel. The odometer reads 26232 miles but it has been used more; approximatley 126232. The car has very minor rust spots. I've tried my best to represent them on the pictures provided. This Super Beetle is excellent for a variety of drivers. Great for teen drivers. Great for college students. Great base model for VW gear-heads, who want to customize it to their needs.
