Ways to Contact: - ebay email system - czarmail2@comcast.net - 708-927-7089 CONDITION: Vehicle exterior: There are bunch of small chips and dings in the paint mostly in the front from driving; otherwise the paint looks in good shape. The passenger side fender is bent in few places from the van falling on top of the wheel once when bolts were not properly tightened. There are no other visible body dents per my inspection; the vehicle has no reported accidents. The tires have at least 25% thread left. The van has 17” wheels and Michelin tires from Lincoln LS which I’ve added; paid 600 for the wheels alone used which was cheap. Vehicle interior: This is a cargo van and in addition to that most of the standard cardboard panels that come in a cargo were removed to make more room. The van also has no carpet on the floor. Since we’ve had the van we’ve replaced the standard cloth seats with leather ones that are powered and added the 2nd row of leather capitan seats that are in excellent shape since we used these very rarely (you can see these I separate photo. The steering wheel has some noticeable rub to it at the top. This van has all the power options (doors, locks, mirrors) even though it’s a cargo. Engine compartment: Clean condition. Some oily or dusty spots can be seen on surfaces if you look close; after all, the vehicle has almost 150K miles and we’ve never washed the engine. I just installed new battery one month ago. Vehicle operation: The van drove fine till about a month ago when it stopped at a stop light and after that had a hard time starting. We had to tow it to our house. At this time it will start, but will not stay running in idle, but die so it will need repair. You will need to tow the van from our place since it will not drive. I was told that this is most likely a faulty cam shaft sensor or fuel pump, but these might be just guesses. I don’t think its fuel pump since the van will stay running at higher RPM when you hold the pedal down and will die when RPM drops and you put it in drive. Routine maintenance was done on the van recently: spark plugs, coil pack, fuel filter, etc, so I don’t think it’s those things. Also, about 6 months ago I have changed the seals in the lower manifold, which is a common issue with these vans not running right due to those leaks creating a vacuum leak. I was quoted cam shaft sensor and assembly plus change at 450; the sensor assembly looks like a distributor and sits under/next the power steering pump so it’s hard to get to. If it’s not the sensor that’s the problem I would venture to guess the van has some electrical issues. Following other things were not working properly when the van was operational: The driver side window sometimes stopped working and then it worked again, now it does‘t again. The gauge cluster needles started to act funny while the van is driving, especially when you hit a bump, one needle has broken off piece. The rear brakes did squeal once a while when stopping. Milege: 148,535 Miles Summary: To make a long story short, we decided not to sink in more money in the van and live with one car plus occasionally borrow from our folks. If you need to hall cargo and you know how to remedy the issue, this is a very room van and can fit a lot of stuff while still look like a soccer mom van concealing the stuff under tinted windows.
