Vehicle Detail
Hello!!! This auction is for an awesome 1969 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible. It is in excellent condition. It is very well optioned. It has a 318 motor backed up with an automatic transmission. V8, automatic AND air conditioning in a convertible!!! Oh yeah... AM/FM radio, deluxe interior which includes the deluxe door panels and wood grain. This car also has the light package which includes the courtesy lights, front and rear, trunk light and fender mounted turn signals. This car is the ultimate car show cruiser here in Florida as you can imagine... The car had been repainted when we bought it. There is red primer overspray here and there in the jambs as well as having had some prior work done on the passenger's front fender. There are a couple of paint chips on the passenger side. One on the quarter panel and 2 on the front fender. The AM/FM radio works however changing the station is tricky!!! I believe the string must be broken. The back window (glass) has had the stitching redone by hand. The inside (engine side) of the driver's fender has some rust spots, the biggest area is about 2 inches. I don't believe it has rusted through, but haven't taken the fender off to check. The trunk has some very minimal surface rust. This car runs, drives and stops great! Air conditioning is cold! It has truly been fun to own. It's time that we pass it on to the next owner to enjoy. The carpet looks very faded in the pictures, but not so bad in person. Need something to tinker with during the winter months? This car doesn't need much... Light cosmetics would be easy...
