Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 You are bidding on a 1950 Ford Truck F100. I wanted to make a rat rod, but did not want to change too much of the original look of the truck. So, this is what you see. It is a 1950 Ford Truck body on an all original 1969 Ford Truck frame and drive train. It has a good running 302 with a 3 speed manual transmission and stock 1969 Ford rear-end. The truck runs great with a new carburetor and manual choke. We used as much of the 1969 that we could. We used the front 1969 bumper on the rear of the 1950 truck. We have the original front 1950 bumper. We used the 1969 heater box, ignition, light switch and heater controls. It will need new glass all around. I do have most of the door “guts” including the scissors. The seats came out of a Pinto. The bed wood is new. We also used the brake and clutch pedals from the 1969. The gas pedal is from a Blazer. The steering wheel is from a Blazer. The wheels and tires are good. The exhaust is sound. As you will see in the pictures, there is some rust in the running boards, but they are sound. I had planned to weld new sheet metal on the running boards. The cab is sound, but does have some rust in the corners, but it is not rusted through to the exterior. It will need some things done to it to make it what you want. For my wife and I, this is what we wanted. I do have lots of original parts that will go with the truck. If you are looking for a rat rod or a truck to restore, this truck would serve you well. I do have a title to this truck. We bought this truck thinking it was a 1951, but the title says 1950 and the previous owner explained this was a 1951 truck but made in 1950 so it came with a 1950 title. Whether or not this was true did not matter to me. We have not driven this vehicle on the highway, only short distances around our residence. I would advise having this vehicle shipped to your location. Please look at these pictures carefully. Please email me with any questions before you bid. Remember your bid is a contract to purchase this truck. I am requiring a $500 nonrefundable deposit due to me within 72 hours of the close of the auction via cashiers The balance is due within 7 days of the close of the auction. Please arrange to have the truck picked up within 10 days of the close of auction. AS IS WARRANTY This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied.
