1977 INTERNATIONAL SCOUT SS II 4x4 V 304 automatic VIN # G0062GGD35923 This Scout is truly amazing and ready for fun, You Will not find too many International Scouts in this condition both cosmetically and mechanically. I am the third owner of this California dream. This scout went through a body on restoration about 12 months ago. It included striping the original paint down to the bear metal and refinishing it with a new base coat/clear coat paint job. The inside has been professionally sprayed with a color matched Line-X coating, color was matched to the exterior color of this vehicle. This original numbers matching engine has just gone through a complete rebuild about 800 miles ago. During the rebuild we added a Aluminum intake by RPT (saves of 100 lbs of the original intake), complete electronic ignition, New Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, Edelbrock air cleaner that had to be custom fabricate to fit the original water neck and hood for clearance, All new plugs, wires, etc. This scout also comes with original Air Condition that has been updated with a new compressor, and all new necessary parts. The A/C blows ice cold and the heater blows as hot as you can stand. The original Radio is still installed, but I added a locking center console with a Sony CD,IPOD player. I have also installed Sony 6x9 speakers in both doors and miniture tweeters hidden under the dash. The interior was completely redone. All seat covers and padding were replaced and the door panels had to be custom made to fit the original backs. There is a complete Roll bar system that has also been Lin-X ed in black. The 4x4 components were all taken apart cleaned and rebuilt. The transmission has was also completely rebuilt and has only about 800 miles as well. This scout has all the original parts except for the new parts added for better drivability and performance. I have all the original engine components ( ie: intake manifold, carb, air cleaner, etc) that will be supplied to the new owner. The only part of this scout that has not been restored is the hard top. It is in great working condition, but I keep it off most of the time. I also have the soft top that covers the passenger and driver that is included in this auction. As you will see this is truly an amazing Scout that you will not be disappointed in.
