Vehicle Detail
http://picasaweb.google.com/trace.johannesen/2010122319994Runner?feat=directlink This would be a great car for a new driver. I purchased it in Oct 2006 and immediately flushed radiator, changed all fluids, replaced all hoses, greased fittings, flushed and lubed both differentials, replaced all belts except timing belt. (Visual inspection found brand new timing belt.) All maintenance and oil changes were recorded and maintenance log comes with vehicle. The Good: 1.All maintenance logged, oil changes every 3 - 5K 2.New brake rotors Aug 2008 3.New tires Aug 2008 4.New DieHard battery Aug 2008 5.Never had mechanical problems. 6.Pioneer AVIC-D2 cd, GPS navigation installed. 7.Custom fit, carpeted rear cargo deck, good for hiding tools out of sight in back. 8.I have a pdf version of the complete factory repair manual AND wiring diagram. 9.Last oil change 12/23/2010 10.Replaced rear shocks last month 11.Installed 1.5-inch rear shock spacers to level the truck and get rid of the "3rd Generation 4Runner Sag." The Bad: 1.Salvage title. It had clearly been in a bad wreck and they chose to rebuild it. I like working on cars, so I didn't worry about it and 70,000 miles later, it's still running like a champ. 2.Missing passenger airbag due to #1 above. 3.Right rear window likes to come off tracks sometimes. I don't roll it down anymore. Took off door panel to fix one day, could not get bracket that holds bottom of window (U-shaped, rubber-lined channel) to get back on glass. I just leave it up now. 4.Driver's seat is well-worn. I took good photos of this. Selling this because I needed a bigger vehicle. Now that I have a 4x4 Tundra, I don't really need the 'Runner any more. She needs another good home!
