My name is Rich.... now that should weed out all deadbeats so here we go. -----------This is my 1964 Caddy 4 door, 6 window hardtop. Stock motor--429, th400 transmission. Full dual exhaust all the way to the rear bumper. Edelbrock 750 carb. Pertronix ignition kit, no points! Runs xlnt,shifts xlnt, start-stops-idles-rides-handles great, burns about 1qt every 800 miles, no smoke, no big leaks---just a few areas where it seeps and drips a little like a car this age usually does....the more you drive the less it drips. Brakes have been re-done on all corners with shoes, flex lines, rebuilt cylinders and drums turned. Radiator cleaned out.All tires xlnt, all match. Steering box, hoses and pump replaced. Lights all work. All glass good, no cracks. The a/c and cruise control were shot when I got it, so those systems were all removed-took about 200 pounds off!! New aftermarket heater is installed, needs the defroster hoses run to finish. Horn works, gauges work, dash uncut, all 4 door windows work, seat moves, doors lock, wipers work, new spare tire and stock jack is all there. Nice body, has only 1 small rust spot on lower right front fender(patch panel included) Stock patina gold paint, roof has been metalflaked and clearcoated. Comes with new, full 1 gallon of Hot Rod Flatz gold paint for the body. Interior is decent, dash is uncut. Dash pad is sweet-uncracked. Nice stock headliner, nice carpet, decent original door panels. Seats all need new foam and covers. Trunk is clean, black carpet and leopard print. Suspension is air bagged all 4 corners. 2 pumps(air ride technologies) one 5 gallon tank, 4 valves-ridepro from air ride technologies( 3/8) 3/8 lines, digital gauge in ashtray, 4 toggles(1 for each corner) tucked under front seat......no fast air b/s. Just a nice basic system to get the look.Rides great and handles better than stock.Not hacked up-coils will bolt right back in and are included if you want them. Black California plates. Registered, insured, pink slip in hand. Motor is stock 10.5 to 1....premium fuel and gets average of about 12mpg.......lower if you goose it, maybe up to 14 or so at a steady 70mph. Factory repair manual included. I've owned it over 7 years so I know it inside out...will gladly answer any ?'s, or show in person. Full payment before the car leaves. You supply your own transportation/carrier. Will help with pick-up. Can help deliver to you or dock within about 200 mile max at 1.00 per mile(call first!!!!).......basically, this is a nice,original CA car, mostly stock, and needs someone to finish it to their standard-or just drive it as-is. In my opinion it really needs door rubbers/seals, weld in the supplied patch panel&apply supplied paint, and re-do the seats to be sweet. Available for viewing evenings. This is a daily driver, but not a cross-country cruiser. If you buy it and live on the east coast, plan on shipping it-and you plan and pay for that on your own(and do it before bidding) ....if you live within 200-300 miles, I wouldn't hesitate to drive it home....but I always carry a tool kit with any old car and suggest you do too. This car is close to 50 years old and I listed it as a rat rod for a reason....it is customized and I would not waste money restoring it to factory.......just a cool old car that runs fine and looks bitchen the way it is. You can cruise around as you finish it. It needs some work on the seats, shoot the paint on, fix a few items-----vacuum locks need the hoses replaced, the stock radio crackles and needs rebuilt if you want to use it, the power vent windows needs 1 motor replaced and new gears on them to work(if you care, I don't).......lots of real small things that didn't work when I got the car, and frankly didn't really matter to me-I put my money in the running gear---has new motor mounts, fuel pump, replaced all the hoses and water pump, cap-rotor-wires,.....rodded out the radiator, brakes, carb,....etc etc.....This is not a show car-------if you want that level of car, Barrett-Jackson in on the Speedchannel----go there and bring your retirement fund!!!!!!
