Here’s how our consignor describes his vehicle now up for sale on this auction.
A rare find is this 1980 Mercedes 450sl. This one is running and driving. The exterior is solid with a few rust flakes (no rot). The mileage is the right miles and the engine is running properly. The transmission shift good as well. I recently replaced the starter and the flywheel ring gear. Big job but it's all done and never should need to have it done again. The uni-body, floors are pretty solid and should last many years to come.
The top comes off and you've got a car with no top. If you out in the rain and your top is home put up the rag top Which by the way is new new new. Look at the pictures. Thank you NetAutoExchange for selling my vehicle on ebay.
There is no major damage evident on this vehicle. The engine on this vehicle is running properly. This vehicle has no known defects. Overall, this vehicle's exterior is clean. The interior is clean and in good condition. There is approximately 75% of the tire tread remaining. There are no signs of prior damage on this vehicle. Vehicle has minor dings on the exterior body. This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission. All power equipment is functioning properly.

Most of our listings are from private individuals that consign their vehicle with us. and others are dealer auctions, or new car trade in. Whichever the case may be, my point is this. All our vehicles are used vehicles and as in any used vehicle there may be issues. We may not be aware of these issues. The previous owner or consignor fails to complete the inspection report accurately. My point is this. We are not in business to cheat anyone out of their hard earned money. We are in business to make a living and keep our customers coming back to us because they felt they got a good deal. We hope this sale will be as such. Can I guaranty that every person will walk away happy? I can only say this. I give you my word that all known issues at the time of listing will be posted honestly in the description.
