1970 ½ Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - VIN number 124870N527192 - Trim Tag number ST70 12487 NOR 266636 - Mileage 72,000 documented on the Pa title - 350 CID LT1 motor with correct aluminum “snowflake” intake manifold (engine number back of block: 3970010, engine number front of block: 0408CTB), both engine numbers are correct. Reference to verify is Chevrolet by the Numbers by Alan Colvin - Correct, original Z-28 only 4-speed Muncie manual transmission with aluminum case. - Rare deluxe black “comfort weave” interior, much of it original and in terrific condition. Headliner very good, dash straight and not cracked. These door panels are extremely difficult to find, and they’re in great shape. - Beautiful fathom blue metallic exterior color. All glass is original and in excellent condition with the drivers door having a few small rub marks - Engine compartment finished to show standards. Original radiator and water pump have been retained and restored as well. - Underbody nicely detailed; springs, brake lines, fuel lines, rear axle, shocks, etc. - Documentation: Original owner’s manual and “Protect-o-Plate”, original ignition key found under the carpet during last restoration. Selected information from the VIN, Trim Plate, and Protect-o-Plate: Car built at the Norwood, Ohio plant. Engine built at the Flint Engine Plant - Correct basic smog equipment on engine; very rare - Stock exhaust manifolds and exhaust system, including stainless steel exhaust tips - Correct date coded spark plug wires (1st quarter 1970) - Correct Holley 780 carburetor (carburetor number 3972121) - Correct Z-28 rims with Goodyear Polyglass 60 series tires (including the spare) with repro center caps and originals kept in plastic bags. - 410 rear axle - Last major restoration in 2008 - One owner for last 11 years - Always garaged; driven on the weekends to cruise-in’s only.
