First of all my wife bought this car as her mid-life crisis, but quickly realized this isn't the car for a soccer mom. When we bought the car we paid full NADA book value only to have the clutch go out on the way home, imagine that. The clutch was replaced at a cost of 805 dollars. Then she decided she didn't like the factory hubcaps so off they went and we spent 1100 dollars on 18 in rox wheels and tires. While we were doing the wheels it was told brake pads were getting low so there went another 410 to replace them all they way around. I told my wife we were so deep in the car and had no records that we needed to do timing belt and water pump so we spent another 600. Then we went to an audio show and all she could talk about was the video in her Tahoe, so quess what in went the 7 inch indash monitor, and amp and Pioneer door speakers and 2 Kicker comp subs. to a tune of 1400 dollars. So in total I have 5300 in car and 4315 in repairs and upgrades. So all together I have 9615 dollars in a car and my wife wants something to better fit her needs. This little Beetle runs and drives like a top and was just inspected here in Va. Things that need attention are Window regulator, and there is a crack in the front grille. This car is for sale locally for 5000 or best offer so auction will end in the event of a local sale. A 1000 dollar deposit is needed within 24 hours of auction end, and full payment due in 7 days. Car can be stored on my property for 14 days afer that there will be a storage fee due. No I will not take full payment through Paypal unless you are willing to add a 3 percent fee to the final price. Sorry to be this way but they really get you with all the fees and listing fees.
