Vehicle Detail

I have a 1989 GT here for sale. This vehicle has 85,000 original miles, and is a NC based car. The body needs work, and will need at least a new front bumper, drivers door, and a complete paint job. The fenders, quarter panel, roof and hatch are all pretty straight. The interior is in pretty good shape, although there are no seats and new weatherstripping will need to be installed. It has new black carpet (black carpet for rear is included but not pictured). There is an A pillar pod but the gauges are NOT included (neither is the MSD box). This car has a full chromoly roll cage which was professionally installed. The car has full 2x3 box tube, through the floor subframe connectors, as well as reinforced torque boxes. The door bars were specifically designed for easy entry and exit of the vehicle. There is also a 255 lph forced induction fuel pump in the factory gas tank. The vehicle sits on Ford Racing C springs. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have. I will include the factory T5 tranny (pictured) with the UPR short throw shifter if the Buy It Now option is used. This vehicle is listed for local pick up only. Title in hand. ---------------------------------------------- I have added three pictures of the subframe connector installation. As you can see, these connectors are full length and are tied directly into the front and rear subframes. The connectors were also tied into the rocker panels with additional 2x3 box tubing, which is where the main hoop of the cage was welded to. It is difficult to see in the pictures, but there are also two bars welded from the main hoop to the torque boxes. Essentially, when the car launches, all of the force being put into the torque boxes is now being distributed equally into the entire chassis of the vehicle. Please feel free to send me a message when any further questions! On Jan-12-11 at 07:25:09 PST, seller added the following information: ------------------------------------- Due to the Buy-It-Now option disappearing, I will offer the transmission, shifter, bellhousing, flywheel, King Cobra clutch (less than 1000 miles) and driveshaft to the the winning bidder for an additional $200.
