Up for auction ,1938 Pontiac 6 Deluxe 2Door Touring Sedan.Car was stripped to bare metal, Prepped and painted with multiple coats of black Laquer,All new glass and rubber installed,All chrome refinished,Frame and underside cleaned and painted then driven outside and sat for 20 or so years.It's a long story beginnin with a friend with a body shop,will tell you if you need to know.This car was slick and about 80% finished.Over the years the paint fell off and the normal issues happened but the car still has an Incredible Body.Very straight only about a cup of mud was used back then.The car was 100% rust free but now needs minor front floor pan repair[easy fix-pans flat and square]but thats about all the rust.Doors are near perfect.Car purred like a kitty when parked,I believe brakes and other mechanicals were rebuilt also but need attention again.Engine was gently stuck but I have it turning freely by hand.I think she'll run with some TLC.The rear seat is gone,who knows,and I was told 1 headlight pedestal was lost.I dont know if any other parts are missing or not,there are several crates of parts with the car.This Poncho would make a Great original driver or an AWESOME FAT FENDER STREET ROD whichever way you choose to go.Needs minimal body work to look good again and could probly be Ridin in a few weekends.Tried to take lots of pics to show whats here.I think it's probly one of the best unmolested restorable cars from this era you'll find anywhere.No Title,who knows,but will come with legitimate Bill of Sale.Actual mileage unknown.Any questions feel free to ask.Car being sold as is and is for sale locally.I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.Please don't Bid if you can't pay Immediately.I'm just tryin to find her a good home!NO RESERVE WILL GO TO HIGHEST BIDDER,Thanx.On Jan-09-11 at 09:56:23 PST, seller added the following information:Car can be stored here a couple weeks after payment if you need time.Will assist any way I can for p/u or shipping.ThanxOn Jan-12-11 at 20:10:44 PST, seller added the following information:Only 1 day left folks,If she doesn't sell will be dependable drive anywhere,fresh slick hot rod black,turn key, in a couple weeks, but the price will triple.Appreciate all the interest,God Bless,Have a great year.!!!!
