Up for sale is my 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible. I bought the car as an unfinished restoration project from a local guy with the intent of keeping it as part of my small VW collection, but during the time it took me to complete this car I have decided that what I really need is another motorcycle, not another Rabbit. So it is time to let this little car go... I would consider interesting trades, especially if you have a Kawasaki KLR 650 Since completing it I have put less than 100 miles on it. Passed smog a couple of weeks ago The entire car was stripped down and re-sprayed the factory color inside and out. Floors, trunk, engine bay, everything. Lots of miscellaneous brackets zinc plated Wheels powdercoated original metal flake silver New Michelin tires with less than 100 miles on them Aligned at Five Points Tire in Redwood City last week Dynamat throughout New Pioneer CD player with iPod input and removable face plate Dashboard has is not cracked or warped at all Convertible top in good shape, no cracks, holes, or tears. All gauges are functional. Oil pressure, oil temperature, voltage, tachometer, speedometer, odometer, and even the trip odometer. All lights work, marker lights, turn signals, brake, reverse, high beams and low beams.
