Up for auction is a 1972 BBC Procharged Z/28 900HP pump gas streetcar...... This is a 1972 camaro Z28 with a procharged BBC street/strip car. Here are the details. Body All original GM sheetmetal except for the steel 2" cowl hood. This was an Arizona car. The floor pans and trunk pan are original and perfect. This car was originally a stick shift car and I left the clutch pedal intact. Here is a list of all the brand new parts on the body: The paint work (stripes) are very nice with the exception of some stone chips behind the tires. No rust. We re-done the seat covers, the original covers had a small rip in the drivers seat and the rear seat..All chrome-front and rear glass trim, mirror, front grill, all emblems, rear fin, front spoiler, head light bezels, front and rear bumpers, head liner, door handles and locks, dash pad, carpet, B&M Mega shifter. The car has a 150mph speedometer (not actual mileage on car) and 7,000 tach. Also a shift light is installed where the cigarette lighter was. All gauges work. Extra gauges are oil pressure, engine temp, trans temp, fuel pressure, boost. Suspension is stock except for CAL-TRAC traction bars, new upper and lower control arm bushings and new front coil springs. New brakes and ball joints. Car also has a drive shaft loop. I bought a Moser 9" with locker rear axel made to fit this car in the stock location and width etc. It has a 325 rear gear ratio with 31 spline Moser axles. Motor: GM 454 CI BBC Marine block bored .030 to a 462 CI. 4 bolt main and all arp studs and bolts. Scat 4340 forged steel crank Scat H beam rods Diamond pistons 8.5:1 compression 7 quart mildon pan with razor scraper ATI balancer CSR electric water pump Heads - Brodix Racerite Aluminum 275 Comp full roller rockers Comp harden push rods Cam is a mechanical solid lifter custom grind from Steve Morris spec's upon purchase Victor Jr. intake Odyssey battery Pro Systems Carb. Product engineering fuel system, all braided AN fuel lines Exteme Velocity Pro carb hat D-1 Procharger set up for 10lbs of boost Torque converter is a 3800-4000 stall from Mike Riddings 400 Turbo Transmission with a full reverse manual valve body plus a B&M Trans cooler Aluminum radiator with dual electric fans MSD 6AL ignition box with MSD wires,coil & distributor Headers are 2-1/8" primary and 3 1/2" collectors. 3 1/2" exhaust with mufflers dumped before the rear axle This car has front disc and rear drum manual brakes and manual steering which is what it came with factory The wheels are brand new Weld Prostars - the front runners are 3 1/2" wide and the rears are 8" wide. New front 26" tall tires and new rear MT ET streets 28"x11.5". Rears wheels have rim screws. This car runs and drives nice, you can drive this car on the streets with no issues. Very nice street manners but when you want the POWER it's there. The car is built with this combo to run on pump gas - 92 oct. This car is very nice.
