Up for sale is my 1996 A6 with 224,165 miles with a clean title. I am the second owner and have owned the car for 5 years and invested alot of money to keep it running strong. I have all maintenance records since ownership. The oil has been changed every 3000 miles with mobil 1 oil and bosch filter. It has received the following repairs: new timing belt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat, serpentine belt, starter, ignition, a/c compressor, valve cover gaskets, both CV axles, battery, rear brakes, egr valve, vacuum lines, both cooling fans, 2 oxygen sensors, intake manifold gasket, headlight/turn signal switch, changeover valve, rear brakes, both CV axles, right side control arm, one used wheel, oil temp switch, VGC and oil pressure sending unit. Don't let the age fool you the A/C is ice cold with the new parts. This has been a wonderful vehicle for me over the years. It still runs and drives great. The only things that need replacing is the front left shock is close to being worn out, new tires soon (still will pass inspection, just did a few months ago) and hose for the heater core. The interior is in great shape for the age. It has grey leather and many options available on it.. The exterior is in good shape for the age with no rust or missing parts but has its normal surface scratches and two dings on fender. This would be a great first car for anyone and you can drive it home no matter how far you need to travel. It still gets great gas mileage from 21 city-29 highway is what I calculate. I have priced a heater core at $54 and labor at $400 I am also lowering the reserve more than the $454 for repairs. Unfortunatly I am unable to repair the vehicle at this time. I have re-routed the heater hose so the car is not loosing water. It still runs and drives as described and no problems with overheating or loosing water. I apologize for an inconvenience this has caused during bidding.
