- AWESOME - 1983 CJ8 JEEP SCRAMBLER 360 V8 Engine I purchased this vehicle just over 4 years ago out of Phoenix Arizona from the 2nd owner who had purchased it from the original owner in Phoenix Arizona - Most people are aware that vehicles in or from Arizona are RUST FREE - This vehicle has never been sprayed with Line-Ex or Rino Lining in attempts to cover up any rust. It has no dimond plate overlays to cover any rust - it about as rust free as you can get on a CJ Since I purchased the vehicle, It has: Never Seen the Rain Never Been Off Road Never Been Driven by a Minor Always Been Pampered Always Been Garage Kept Under Cover When I purchased the vehicle, the original 6cyl engine was beyond tired. My son and I decided to build a AMC V8 to replace the original 6 cyl. Alcoa Style Aluminium Wheels 33X12.50 Mud Terrains Front Disc Brakes - Rear Drum Original Hard Top & Full Doors Bikini Top and Half Doors Best Top Front Seats Chrome Bumpers - Front and Rear The original Color of this Jeep was chaged by the 2nd owner 9 years ago - There was no rust on the vehicle when painted - he just wanted to change the from the orangish gold to the current color of (2000 Dodge Viper Steel Blue/Grey) Mopar PS6. This Jeep is a real head turner - people are always coming over to look at it whenever we have it out. Scramblers are getting harder and harder to come by - Most of the ones we see at car shows ect. are rust buckets or converted rust buckets. A 1983 CJ8 in this condition is extremely rare and will not last long. Older Jeep dealers accross the Nation are selling Scramblers in near condition for over $20,000 dollars.
