This is a grand national in need of restoration. I purchased this vehicle from the original owner which I've known for 32 years. I originally was going to restore it but I have too many projects and just don't see me getting to it. The car had a motor rebuild & new turbo with all work being by the dealer for a price tag of 6500.00 in 2003 the motor & turbo now have 20,000 miles on them and runs great. Since the rebuild it had new lowing springs & shocks installed. From 2004 till 2009 the vehicle mostly sat was started drove around the block & parked until I got it in July 2010. When I received it it didn't run it needed to have the gas tank removed & cleaned, new ignition switch, new fuel relay, new starter & solenoid. We turned the key and it started on the first try and hasn't missed a lick since. Now lets get to the bad stuff it needs front & rear bumper fillers, a complete interior, tires & wheels, and a complete paint job. The body is very straight and the paint is 90% original so what you see is what you get. The sunroof leaks and has been covered prior to me receiving the car. The roof has 2 small rust holes one about the size of a quarter and the other about a dime. The trunk has a rust hole in the rain channel about 1-1/2 x 2.5 to 3 wide other than that I don't see anything else as far as rust through also the trunk lid needs to be replaced . I have priced all that it needs and believe that if your capable of paint and body all of the parts can be bought for 2500.00 or less that includes corner lamps & taillights. On Jan-06-11 at 19:30:16 PST, seller added the following information: Extra Info The hole in the drip rail in the trunk is only 1/2 high x 2.5 to 3 wide there is also a small crack in the windshield but nothing that would stop an inspection sticker.
