Vehicle Detail
Up for your consideration is a beautiful copper 1963 Ford Fairlane 2-Door Sedan. It has 85,120.4 original miles and it has the ORIGINAL PAINT. The motor is a 170 cubic inch with a 3-Speed Stick on the Column. This car has very little rust, needs little repair and could be a road-worthy driver with just some brake work. It starts great and is "yard driveable" but would need to be hauled. I purchased this car from a friend; it has a clear North Dakota Title. The vehicle was originally purchased in Garden City, Michigan but has been in North Dakota since 1972. It has been sitting for a number of years. It comes with the original Owner's Manual and service record ! This vehicle has a few dents and dings but is very solid for its age. The engine has only about 35,000 miles on it since it was rebuilt and it runs good. It has a NEW FUEL PUMP, NEWLY REBUILT CARBURATOR, A NEW POINTS CONDENSER, ROTOR & CAP, and the GAS TANK was removed and cleaned as was the FILTER. The FUEL CARTRIDGE on the side of the motor was also replaced. It has 14" tires on it, but I will include the original 13" wheels and hubcaps. What does it need ? The front of the hood has a few little dents and hail spots. There is a dent on the Rt. corner of the front fender above the molding. The Lt. front fender has a rust spot on the bottom edge...driver side. There is a slight dent in the front of the left door. There is a slight crease (scrape) in the bottom of the Lt.quarter...is hard to see. The Rt. rear tail light fin has some damage above the light. The Rt. rocker has a crease to pull out. The bottom of the Rt. fender has a small rust hole. The passenger front floor pans are starting to rust through on the very edge. The driver side needs a front floor pan, as well. It has a piece of metal bolted through to make it stronger. Your feet won't go through. The rest of the car...trunk, rear floor pans, unitized frame...all look good. Regarding the interior, the front driver seat cushion and back need replacing; there is only one small tear on the back seat cushion. The headliner is pretty good, with only one small hole. The steering column has been replaced. The Lighter and Horn Ring are missing but I have them and they will be included. The glass is all perfect except for 2 small chips in the Windshield. The Arm Rest is gone on the passenger side and it needs a new Trunk Liner. That's it !! This would make a very nice Thunderbolt Clone. Once again, to be road-worthy it needs only a brake job; the Rt. rear wheel cylinder leaks. The copper paint glistens and the straight, classic lines make it a real attention-getter ! And for a 47 year-old vehicle, it is in remarkably good shape ! Pick up is the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer has up to 60 days to pick up the Fairlane. I will send the Title to the new owner as soon as the car is paid for. Our zip code is 55744 for hauling quotes. A Downpayment of $500 via Paypal is expected within 24 hours of the close of the auction. The remainder of the final cost must be in our hands within 7 days of the end of the auction. Cashiers Check or Cash will be accepted. NOTE: This vehicle is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Thank you for your interest and good luck bidding !
