1967 Ford Fairlane Custom 2 door sedan. This car is NOT an "R" code Fairlane! Engine is a 427 side oiler with Ford tunnel port heads and 2 X 4 intake manifold originally designed for NASCAR use. TCI C-6 automatic transmission, manual shift, reverse valve body with 3500 stall converter. Ford 9 inch nodular rear end with 4:10 gear and spool, Moser axles. Engine has 400 miles since overhaul, new valves, Lunati roller cam, with Dove Engineering roller rockers, Smith Brothers pushrods, 10.1 flat top pistons, new Holley carbs, Accel ingition, Jet Hot Hooker headers, new radiator, Milodon 9 qt oil pan. 16 gal fuel cell with electric fuel pump and Carter mechanical fuel pump. Car rewired with American Autowire harness, single wire alternator. Great trim and glass. Lift-off fiberglass Super Stock type hood and fiberglass bumpers front and rear. This car was raced in the late 60's through the mid 70's and has been mini-tubbed. It still has the 60's style 2X4 inch traction bars welded to the 9 inch rear end that run forward to the driveshaft safety loop just aft of the transmission. B&M shifter with Line Lock. Interior is black original vinyl, with bench seat in front. No radio, heater or windshield wiper motor. All lights, turn signals and horn work properly. The car has 3 inch exhaust with Spin Tech mufflers and real NASCAR side exhaust exits forward of the rear tires. Bob Glidden wheels all four corners with Hoosier Quick Time P295 60 D15 tires on rear and Mickey Thompson Sportsman 28 X 7.70-D15 on front. Wilwood disc brakes on front with all new front suspension components. Drum brakes on rear. Car has very straight body, paint has some chips and small bubbles in paint, but car is very presentable. Car has been garaged but now needs to be sold as shop space is being used for hot rod project. Car is being sold as/where is.
