Up for sale is my friends 97 Tahoe. To the best of my knowledge please find the following issues: This truck was for sale under local classified and we got tired of the low offers so we are going to auction under a reserve price. It was driven into my garage to install a new Delphi spider injectors due to a rough idle. Has 203k on ODO, new intake manifold gasket was installed, thermostat etc. After install the distributor was not aligned or marked prior to removal now it starts and runs really rough. Im guessing the timing is off big time. I can hear the ticking noise from the distributor like its arcing or something..he did say a new tranny was installed and the 4x4 works hi/low range. Has a cracked windshield and it will need some very minor exhaust work. (Exhaust is new someone tried to steal the cat and cut the pipe just before the first pre silencer) It will need a bead and should be fine. Tried to change the oil and the filter will not come off, we used a screwdriver, chain wrench and there is just no leverage under the truck while in your driveway...will need a hoist. Filter looks like swiss cheese so this truck cannot be driven home. I can start it to show that it runs...but not for long for the obvious reason. Interior is fair to rough IMO. Headliner is sagging in certain spots. Feel free to ask any more questions. Truck is sold as is and will be up for sale locally. If you want to inspect prior to sale be my guest Some of the drivers side door panel clips are missing and the rear interior driver side door handle is broken. I called the wrecker the clips are free the door handle will be $7. The carpets have various stains as shown in the photos. Again you will need a trailer and truck is as is where is....do not bid unless you are a serious buyer. Non refundable deposit of 300 dollars is due from the winning bidder. I will hold the truck for 5days.
