For sale is a Rare 1979 Jeep Cherokee Chief "S" sport edition. Truck is a solid barn find, with factory flares, navajo stripes and matching interior which is very useable, everything complete, factory jeep grille guard, dana 44 front and rear, 3 spd manual (was automatic from factory and column shift and indicator is still there) power rear window. Some rust but very solid underneath, not dented or beat up at all. Has a 401 v8 that was running when parked and NOT locked up, turns freely, and with a tuneup should run. This is a project however and I do not know condition of drivetrain. NO RESERVE! 573-680-3097. Just so everyone knows, The mileage is thought to be accurate with 85,??? showing. The last digit of the VIN on the title is a 5, but on tag it's a 6. Just letting everyone know, I bought it from the original owner so there's nothing funny going on, just a mistake.
